Set up as an audio event, this year’s Texas Summer Showdown went down in the pages of history on June 6th and 7th and it was a major success. Put on by Monty Jones, the owner of performance audio, with a number of sponsors, and people attending the event, how could it not have been? For his first annual show, Monty teamed up with the Turkey Drag Promotional Team and he also teamed up with the Outlandish Trends Car Club to help put on the car show portion of this event. Texas Summer Showdown was very well organized with set rules and regulations. It was held in a no smoking/no drinking facility which helped keep things running …CONTINUED BELOW
